What happens when you combine Pinterest’s data-fortified trend reporting with the trendsetting retail reach of Urban Outfitters? Well, a lot, actually.
At the peak of last year’s back-to-school season, we launched Space Shift, an immersive series of “multifunctional sanctuaries” inspired by real Pinterest searches and personified by a cast of handpicked, multi-hyphenate influencers (including Tinashe, who performed in her space, and Miffy, who was Miffy). This irl activation was married to an omnichannel campaign showcasing UO Home product, further supported by a UO X Pinterest contest, and the result was as successful as it was inspiring, with millions of impressions across social and press outlets and a healthy lift in sales to match.
More recently, we harnessed the unspeakable power of the 2025 Pinterest Predicts forecast, bringing the “Dolled Up” trend to life with a multi-pronged campaign rollout and specialized shopping experience, complete with custom in-store pop-up shops. Again, customers and mutuals went wild, with strong engagement and sales all wrapped up with a bow.
